knitting

My first-ever knitting project is making progress... It's over 2 feet long! I kind of layered it over my lap to make a prettier picture, so you can't really see the length, but you can't see my foibles either so it's a compromise. I carry it around lots so I can knit when I have time, and as the meetings I go to are mostly informal, my knitting is permissable.

I'm hoping to have the scarf done by the time it gets cold so that I can wear it... I decided not to give it away because it has SO much stuff wrong with it... and that scarf and I have learned together... So I am all for keeping it to myself and giving the next few away. If I pick up knitting again... I'll probably have my hands full sewing the SWAP!

  2. Hi Sarah! I'm so happy that I was able to find your blog - last week I tried and was directed to the dead end of your previous blog name. Now that I've found you, I'll subscribe and be able to keep up with your sewing, knitting and crafting adventures! Anyways, I also wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving comments. As I'm sure you know, getting comments really means a lot! :)
I love your new blog name and good luck with your scarf! When will it start getting cold enough for a scarf where you live? I'm in Florida, so scarves are not all that necessary for us... Take care, Gwen
