I know what I am doing for Christmas presents!!!

Recycling fabric... Between my job getting rid of a lot and a friend cleaning out her closet, I will be set to do handmade things for many friends. And it won't cost me much, because I'm recycling pieces and giving them new life!
It's a good thing this is all happening now... I still have time to make things!

On a completely separate note, thank you all SO much for your comments... It's so nice to know someone really reads this. And your advice has been invaluable. I have done a lot of sewing, but drafting and designing is still new to me and you all have given me SO much good advice!
